Direct dyes are water-soluble dyes with high lightfastness. Our high-quality dyes are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications—particularly paper dyeing, the printing industry, and the textile industry—as well as for hair cosmetics.
Direct dyes are anionic, water-soluble dyes that bond directly to fibers without the need for mordants or chemical pretreatment. They are characterized by their ease of use, good color yield, and wide color range.
The name “Direct” derives from the fact that these dyes exhaust directly onto the substrate from an aqueous solution—without additional fixing agents.
